Safety Guidelines
For your safety and comfort we would ask that you read through these guidelines and keep them in mind throughout your stay.
1. Your first point of contact for all matters relating to your stay is Reception. Our staff will be able to provide you with answers to most of your questions about the park, your accommodationand surrounding attractions.
2. When driving on the park we ask that you drive slowly to reduce the risk of collision with pedestrians or cyclists. Children at play can often be oblivious to oncoming vehicles. There is a maximum speed limit of 10 mph on all roads.
3. External lighting is provided to illuminate safe routes around the park. If walking through woodland when it is dark please take a torch with you for your own safety.
4. The rules for using the swimming pool are posted on the walls of the pool hall. Your co-operation with these rules is greatly appreciated so that the pool remains a safe and healthy environment for all to enjoy. To access the swimming pool you are required to sign in at Evolution Reception and show your lodge key. Children under 16 years old must be supervised at all times and will not be allowed into the facility without a responsible adult. Children under 12 years must be accompanied in the swimming pool by the responsible adult. Children aged 12 and over may be supervised by the responsible adult from the swimming pool spectator area. The gym and spa areas are strictly for people aged 16 years and over. Passes can be purchased from Evolution. Please bring your own towels.
5. Please be thoughtful towards your fellow guests whilst staying with us, particularly with regards to noise in the mornings and at night.
6. Remember that you are in a countryside environment so surfaces can be slippery, particularly in autumn and winter when leaves are falling or frost is on the ground. Please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear and take care when walking around the park and pay particular attention when walking on the decking and sleepers.
7. Please ensure that you clean up after your pet and use the waste bins provided by the woodland walk. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times when outside the lodge.
8. Safety gates for children or pets are available to borrow from Reception.
9. When playing mini-golf we recommend that children are closely supervised and the golf clubs are not swung around. A golf club with a poorly controlled swing can have very painful consequences for both the player and spectators.
10. Please be aware there is a large pond at the top of the park near the Trim Trak and Meadow. Please accompany children at all times.
11. If your lodge has a hot-tub, please carefully read and follow the additional rules and safety guidelines. Pleas ensure you vacate your lodge by 11pm.
12. Please adhere to all current Covid guidelines.
